Savvy Studio, Mexico City

June-August 2019

Joining Savvy Studio in Mexico City for an internship during 2019, I worked to create a range of bespoke glass artefacts based on different processes of rock deformation. Working alongside luxury glass manufacturer Nouvel I created a range of vessels and diffusers for Savvy Studio to exhibit at the Milan Design Show.

Working with another Product Designer I learnt to use softwares such as Rhino 3D and Keyshot to create rapid prototypes to test the form and ergonomics of the artefacts. I also learnt to experiment with glass, a material I hadn't worked with before, as well as build upon my Spanish skills whilst living in the centre of Mexico City.
